Proud Sponsors of Ffion Davies at CJI 2024

The Craig Jones Invitational (CJI) was a landmark moment for competitive grappling. Organised by Australian BJJ star Craig Jones, CJI 2024 took place on 16–17 August at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. With a total prize pool of over $2 million — including $1 million for each division winner and a guaranteed $10,000 for every competitor — it became the most lucrative submission grappling tournament in the history of the sport. The event was streamed live on YouTube for free, bringing world-class no-gi grappling to a massive global audience.

Grow Jiu Jitsu was proud to be one of Ffion Davies's sponsors for CJI 2024. Ffion — the reigning ADCC champion — chose CJI over defending her ADCC title, and delivered a dominant performance in her superfight against UFC fighter Mackenzie Dern. She controlled the match from start to finish, taking the back in the first round and finishing with a shoulder lock submission early in the second.

It was an incredible event and a huge honour for our small academy in Bicester to play a part in supporting one of the best grapplers in the world on the biggest stage the sport has ever seen.
